Fluoride

Most of the Bay Area fluoridates its water. Fluoride in all instances falls below the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Secondary Maximum Contaminant Level (SMCL). The SMCL set by the EPA for fluoride in the water is set at 2 mg/L.

Fluoride levels are typically at about 1 mg/L in most cities. While it is below the SMCL, City Water Filter wants to provide the cleanest drinking water to its customers, without any unnecessary additives.

City Water Filter Offers a some options to remove Fluoride from water – a Bone Char Fluoride Tank to filter the water in an entire residence, and a Reverse Osmosis system that contains a bone char filter.
